Controlling Sounds
You can change the pitch of the keyboard in octave
units. This comes in handy when playing music that
exceeds the range of the keyboard.
1.
Use the ep OCTAVE w, q buttons to
change the keyboard pitch in octave units.
The setting range for this operation is ±3 (–3 octaves
to +3 octaves).
You can check the current pitch setting on the TONE
screen, which is displayed by pressing the 8 TONE
button in the SETTING area.
Pressing the ep OCTAVE w, q buttons at the
same time returns the pitch to its initial factory
default setting.
To select a part and change its pitch setting, touch
“Advanced” on the SYSTEM SETTING screen before
performing the above operation, and then use
“Octave Button Target” to select a part (Upper 1,
Lower 1, etc.) For details, see the separate “Tutorial”
manual.
