MBR Error Init CARD
The formatting of the card is abnormal or corrupted.
Replace the card or format the card using the FORMAT menu.
Formatting erases all data currently on the card.
No Card
No SD card is in the unit. Load a recordable SD card.
No Armed Track
There is no track in recording standby (armed).
You tried to enter auto punch mode or pressed the RECORD button when no tracks were in recording
standby. (See “Automatic punching in and out” on page 45.)
Put a track into recording standby before pressing RECORD or activating auto punch.
No Undo History
There is no undo history.
There are no actions to be undone. (See “Undoing an operation” on page 39.)
Not Stopped
The recorder transport is not stopped.
When the recorder is not stopped, this message appears if you press a button, such as UNDO/REDO, that
works only when the recorder is stopped.
Now Recording
The unit is recording.
This message appears when you try to operate a menu while the unit is recording.
Some other operations are also not allowed during recording.
OUT point must
be set after
the IN point.
You cannot set the OUT point before the IN point.
Set the OUT point after the IN point.
Protected Card
The inserted SD card is write-protected.
To record or edit, turn off the unit and unlock the write-protection on the SD card.
Recorded Track
Not Found
When trying to use the export function, no recordings were found on the current song's tracks.
No tracks have been recorded in the current song, or virtual tracks with recordings have not been
assigned to physical tracks.
Select a recorded song, assign the track you want to export to a physical track, and then export it. (See
“Virtual tracks” on page 47.)
Revert to
discard changes.
Edits and changes made since the song was loaded will be cleared, and the song will be reset to status it
had when loaded. Proceed only when you are sure you wish to discard all changes.
Same Track
The same track has been specified.
This message appears when using the clone track function if the source track is also set as the
destination track.
Song Protected
The song is protected.
You are trying to change (record, edit, etc.) a protected song. (See “Protecting songs” on page 31.)
Unprotect the song.
Stereo Track Full
All the stereo tracks already have recordings.
This message appears if you try to import a stereo file when all the stereo tracks in the song already have
recordings, even if some mono tracks are still open.
Track Full
All the tracks already have recordings.
This message appears if you try to import a file when all tracks in the song already have recordings. (See
“Importing tracks” on page 65.)
Trk Edit Fail
Track editing failed.
Save the song, turn the unit off and on again, and then try the track edit one more time.
Trk Too Short
The track is too short.
You are trying to record in mixdown mode, but the time between the IN and OUT points is too short. The
IN and OUT points must be at least 4 seconds apart. (See “Setting IN/OUT points” on page 44.)

While using a guitar effect, the use of dynamic effects is limited to one or two channels. To use dynamic
effects on three or more channels, turn the guitar effect OFF.
Work Memory Full
The working memory is full.
Even if the SD card has enough remaining space, this error could occur if you perform many editing
operations. You may be able to continue to work after executing the
DELETE UNUSED
item in the
SONG
menu to increase the amount of available working memory. (See “Undoing an operation” on page
39.)

Since a virtual track has been recorded, the track type cannot be changed. If you want to change it, clear
the recorded virtual track.
